Cablevision Systems and the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research is launching a new set of public service announcements as part of their curePC campaign.
The 30-second PSAs will feature former President Jimmy Carter and actors William Hurt and Matthew Modine.
The PSAs began airing last month, with additional PSAs to be released throughout 2009. They will run in the New York area on Cablevision’s cable TV systems and at the company’s Clearview Cinemas theaters.
CurePC was launched to increase public awareness and support of the fight against pancreatic cancer. Cablevision is underwriting all of the Lustgarten Foundation’s administration costs, insuring that 100% of all donations go directly to pancreatic cancer research.
