The Associated Press has released a photography and video package profiling a unit of the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment’s 3rd squadron based in Ford Hood, Texas.
The release of the “Killer Blue: Baptized by Fire” package comes as this week marks the sixth anniversary of the Iraq war.
The AP lived with the unit for more than four months, chronicling the unit during their 15-month combat tour in Mosul, Iraq, and their re-entry into normal life once they came home.
