HRTS Hosts Reality Luncheon Panel on April 22

The Hollywood Radio & Television Society will host a Newsmaker Luncheon about reality TV on April 22.
“Broadcasting Reality: Show Me the Money” will be hosted by “Survivor’s” Jeff Probst at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
The discussion will feature panelists Tyra Banks (“America’s Next Top Model”), MBP President Mark Burnett (“Survivor”), Embassy Row President Michael Davies (“Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”), Next Entertainment founder Mike Fleiss (“The Bachelor”), Allison Grodner Productions President Allison Grodner (“Big Brother”) and A. Smith & Co. CEO Arthur Smith (“Trading Spaces”).
“It’s not every day that you have the opportunity to be in the same room with such trailblazers in the reality television genre,” HRTS President Kevin Beggs said in a statement. “This panel will allow us to give our members an insider’s look at the bigger picture of the development behind the intriguing guilty pleasure that is reality programming.”
A reception will be held at 11:30 a.m. preceding the lunch and panel at 12:30 p.m. Reservation and ticket information can be found at www.hrts.org.
