Daniel Kellison, co-creator of “The Man Show” and “Crank Yankers,” is stepping in as executive producer of Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution’s “The Bonnie Hunt Show” next season.
Mr. Kellison also co-created and served as executive producer of ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Mr. Kellison, along with Ms. Hunt, Don Lake and Jim Paratore will serve as executive producers on the show next season.
David Perler, who served as executive producer of the show’s pilot and during the first season, is leaving “Hunt.”
“Daniel’s broad experience and his tremendous creativity and comedic chops will help elevate the show as we enter into its second season,” Hilary Estey McLoughlin, president of Telepictures Productions said in a statement. “Daniel has a proven track record in daytime and late night and a shared sensibility with Bonnie whose authenticity, relatability and spontaneous humor will create a winning combination for our sophomore season.”
“Hunt” is produced by Telepictures Productions, Bob & Alice Productions and paraMedia inc. and is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.

Hooray for “Hunt & Co.”…she is real and has a natural communication/connection that is refreshing in this day of electronic mis-and/or unconnected non-hosts…may the success be a growing one for her and the show.

That sounds like good news. I wonder if he’ll have enough clout to get the guest list crammed with enough A-listers to keep the ratings up.
Bonnie is excellent and extremely funny, but a lot of people watch talk shows for the guests and not just the hosts.
It would appear that “they” are going to make the show just like all the rest: packed with vacuous celebrities with little to say and much to plug. This show is excellent because of Bonnie’s interviewing skills and because it’s different from all the other blathering on the airwaves today. I’m sorry to hear the tampering has begun.
I think that Bonnie Hunt should replace Oprah when she goes off the air, she is so funny and I just love her show. I really love when she has her mother on, she is so cute and Bonnie is so lucky to have her, I lost my mother when she was only 58 and would love to have had her on tv too. I love when she tells her jokes, you have to laugh even if they are not funny because of the Love on Bonnie’s face for her mom. I really do enjoy watching the Bonnie Hunt show.
