SAG Deal Unlikely This Week

The Screen Actors Guild is unlikely to come to an agreement with the studios this week after the union had moved little from its positions after 12 days of talks, Daily Variety reports. Neither the studios nor SAG have made any plans to bring in Walt Disney CEO Robert Iger and News Corp. President Peter Chernin, whose involvement in the Writers Guild of America talks helped end that union’s strike in February, the newspaper says.
