Cox Blocking P2P Traffic, Study Says

May 16, 2008  •  Post A Comment

A study released by the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems in Germany revealed that Cox Communications is blocking visits to peer-to-peer sites and other bandwidth-hungry Web sites, Online Media Daily reports. Cox responded that it does manage access to P2P services in order to manage traffic impact and “ensure a high-quality experience for our customers,” the Web site says. Fellow Internet service provider Comcast came under scrutiny in October when an Associated Press article revealed that the company was slowing down visits to P2P sites, the Web site notes.

  2. Hello, Your site is good and you’ve got the attitude and the right style. This is why I disagree with the gurus when they say: “The Money Is In The List”. The money is not in the list because many lists drive very little traffic with zero conversion. Others drive a lot of traffic with very little conversions. The truth of the matter is that Traffic is King (i.e. traffic that easily converts to sales), and good quality leads drive quality traffic. This is why I provide, free of charge, 250Million Global Optin Leads to all my members, Plus 400,000 Fresh Optin Leads every month, all free.
