Celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse, whose “Emeril Live!” series has been on Scripps Network’s Food Network for more than a decade, is taking the show to Scripps’ Fine Living Network in July, the Associated Press reports. Fine Living is available to about 50 million U.S. households, compared to about 90 million for Food Network, the wire service says.

I’m happy about knowing Emeril Lagasse won’t give up his show…just move it to another Scripps property. As his new business partner, Martha Stewart, would say, “It’s a good thing!” May “Bam!” continue to be part of the cable/satellite TV lexicon for many years to come.
