USTelematics is using WiMax wireless technology to bring live television to cars, Wired reports. IPTV will be delivered to Voyager in-car entertainment systems along with 4VDO, a “mobilecast” program delivering broadcast and video programming, the magazine says. The technology can be developed in the future to become the pipeline into wireless devices and cars with Web connectivity, the magazine notes.
