“Law & Order” boss Dick Wolf stated at William Morris’ annual upfront party that he would create Web-only programming for NBC when “they start paying some money,” Silicon Alley Insider reports. Meanwhile, Hulu CEO Jason Kilar revealed at the Web site’s own upfront party that the site had 15 million unique visitors in the past month, 10 million more than in the month leading up to the consumer launch, the Web site says. Embedding also is growing, with 100,000 videos having been posted on 12,000 Web sites since the launch, the Web site notes.
