Wilmington DTV Transition a Priority

May 15, 2008  •  Post A Comment

The National Association of Broadcasters has asked the National Telecommunications and Information Administration to put DTV-to-analog converter coupon requests from Wilmington, N.C., first, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The NAB is worried that the NTIA is getting swamped with backlogged requests instead of making the test market a priority, the newspaper says. The stations in the test market will switch to digital television on Sept. 8, the Web site notes.
