Jim Carrey is co-developing and executive producing a new series for HBO, Daily Variety reports. The series will center on Mitzi Shore, played by comedian Lisa Lampanelli, who inherits a Los Angeles comedy club. Lampanelli, along with writer Kario Salem, will also executive produce with Carrey, Variety says.
