FCC to Say Verizon Violated Privacy Laws

The FCC is expected to rule that Verizon violated privacy laws by using customer information to influence voice customers not to switch to a cable company’s service, USA Today reports, citing unnamed sources within the commission. Cable companies, including Comcast and Time Warner, say that Verizon used that information to keep thousands of customers to itself, the paper says.
