CNN Ratings Surge During Primary

Jun 10, 2008  •  Post A Comment

CNN’s ratings jumped 50% from a year earlier to a prime-time average of 1.11 million viewers during the Democratic primary as its audience growth outstripped that of Fox News and MSNBC, the Los Angeles Times reports. CNN, shooting for the middle ground between the conservatives at Fox and the liberal commentators of MSNBC, had its best performance since the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq, the newspaper says.
