The Federal Communications Commission will expand its DTV educational efforts with radio PSAs, billboards and transit ads, Broadcasting & Cable reports. PSAs will be available to more than 11,000 radio stations, while transit ads will be put up in 45 markets, the newspaper says. A group of FCC staffers will also be on hand in Wilmington, N.C. for the Sept. 8 test DTV switch, the newspaper notes.
