Hearst CEO Ganzi Resigns

Hearst Corp. CEO Victor Ganzi resigned from his post after policy disagreements with the company’s board, the Associated Press reports. Former CEO Frank Bennack Jr. will take over the position in the interim until a permanent replacement can be found, the wire service says. Hearst owns 29 television stations through the subsidiary Hearst-Argyle Television Inc. and has stakes in several cable networks including ESPN, A&E, History and Lifetime, the wire service notes.
