House Telecommunications & Internet Subcommittee Rep. Cliff Stearns, R-Fla., said he believes Jacksonville, Fla., would be willing to follow in the footsteps of Wilmington, N.C., and pull the analog plug early, Broadcasting & Cable reports. FCC Chairman Kevin J. Martin responded that the regulator would be happy to consider the city as a DTV test market, the newspaper says.
