The Los Angeles City attorney sued Time Warner Cable, accusing it of “unlawful, unfair and fraudulent business practices” and deceptive advertising, the New York Times says. The city is seeking $2,500 in civil penalties for each violation. “Time Warner Cable must be held accountable for illegally deceiving and ripping off its subscribers,” said city attorney Rocky Delgadillo.
