SAG Campaigns Against AFTRA Pact

Jun 9, 2008  •  Post A Comment

The Screen Actors Guild started a campaign to persuade its members who are also in the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists to vote against the ratification of AFTRA’s tentative agreement with the studios, Daily Variety reports. AFTRA has threatened litigation against SAG, which planned a rally at the guild’s Hollywood headquarters today as it continues its talks with the studios, the newspaper says.

  1. SAG is completely out of control. Do they WANT to put everyone out of jobs permanently?
And shame on the Writers’ Guild for supporting them. They should be grateful they got the deal they did and stay out of this.
No one will support another strike.

  2. Well, spent anothr 5 minutes of my life with use, keep on bringing the good posts.
