SAG May Receive Final Offer from Studios

Jun 20, 2008  •  Post A Comment

The Screen Actors Guild should expect to receive a “last, best and final offer” from the major studios next week, Daily Variety reports. Recent talks have been unproductive and the union says it is far apart from the studio on eight issues. Movement is unlikely until the results of AFTRA’s vote to ratify its agreement with the AMPTP are announced, the trade paper said. The studios want a SAG deal to be similar to the terms agreed to by AFTRA and the Writers Guild of America.
