Senator Barack Obama’s campaign has expressed interest in purchasing ads during NBC’s coverage of the summer Olympics, TelevisionWeek reports. Obama’s ad team has inquired about $500,000, $2 million and $4 million packages and NBC Universal responded with media plans that included spots on NBC’s cable networks as well as the broadcast network. Senator John McCain’s camp has also asked NBC about ad packages, but talks aren’t as far along, TV Week said.
