TV writers seemed pleased to be back at the sometimes grueling Television Critics Association summer press tour, indeed many of them were glad just to be working, the Washington Post says. Despite some annoyance over Al Sharpton’s non-appearance at a TV One panel, writers were treated to the wit and wisdom of personalities including Ed Asner, Florence Henderson and Ted Koppel.
