Emmy Gives It To ‘The Wire’ Again

Jul 18, 2008  •  Post A Comment

“The Wire,” the HBO series called “the best show on television” by its fans and many critics, received a single Emmy nomination for its final season, continuing the disrespect shown for the gritty drama during its first four years, the Associated Press says. Series creator David Simon and his ex-cop collaborator Ed Burns–now responsible for HBO’s “Generation Kill”–were nominated for outstanding writing. They were nominated in the same category in 2005. Those are the only two times the show was acknowledged by the Academy.

  2. I like this data shown and it has given me some sort of commitment to have success for some reason, so thanks.
