Trade group representatives and a Disney executive debated the pricing for Disney-owned broadband network ESPN360, Multichannel News reports, citing a panel discussion it hosted. American Cable Association Chairman Steve Friedman said ESPN360 didn’t warrant its price tag, while David Preschlack, executive vice president for Disney and ESPN Networks, said the network is worth its fees because it attracts more high-speed Internet customers to multichannel service operators, the paper says.
