The FCC is set to rule that cable giant Comcast violated its rules by keeping customers from using file sharing services to view and distribute videos, the Wall Street Journal reports. The ruling, expected Friday, could hurt cable firms plans to charge big users of bandwidth higher fees in order to use their networks. Meanwhile FCC Chairman Kevin Martin has complied with a request for information about how the commission has been managed, Television Week reports.
