Ad agency holding company Interpublic Group of Companies is restructuring its media operations, signaling the importance of ad placement and prices in both traditional and new media, the New York Times reports. The new umbrella division for IPG’s media operations is called Mediabrands and Nick Brien from IPG’s Universal McCann unit was named CEO, the paper says.
