Commercial spots during Jay Leno’s final night on NBC could attract as much as $200,000 for 30 seconds, according to media executives, Media Daily News reports. “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” usually rakes in $40,000 to $60,000 for a 30-second spot, but insiders believe that Leno’s last day—May 29—could attract a 12 or 14 household rating, a significant increase from his average 3 or 4 rating, the Web site says.
