AMC’s “Mad Men” will skip ahead 14 months to 1962 when it returns for its second season on July 27, the Orlando Sun-Sentinel reports. Creator Matthew Weiner told critics at a TCA panel that he hopes to be in 1968 by the fifth season, the newspaper says. Weiner was tight-lipped about other upcoming plot points, saying, “I will give you information (about the intervening months) in a most entertaining fashion,” the newspaper notes.
