NFL Network has tapped Bob Papa its play-by-play announcer, replacing Bryant Gumbel who left after the 2007-08 season, Daily Variety reports. Papa is the current radio announcer the New York Giants and has also called NBC Olympics coverage and HBO boxing matches.
