Presidential TV Ad Spending to Set Records

Campaign Media Analysis Group COO Evan Tracey predicts that this year’s presidential campaign TV ad spending could reach a record $800 million, Reuters reports. Ad spending at the local TV level is also expected to rise 2-3%, the service says. The previous TV ad spending for a presidential election was set during the 2004 election year, Reuters says.
