Thomson Reuters, which merged last year, will start a business news channel for the Internet and cable as soon as January to compete with CNBC and Bloomberg News, U.K.-based Daily Telegraph reports. In May, the company, while cutting 140 jobs, created 50 others for “special projects” thought to be related to the TV channel, the newspaper says.
