TiVo Inks Deal With YouTube to Stream Content

TiVo has signed a deal with Web video giant YouTube, allowing users to stream online clips directly to their TV sets, the Hollywood Reporter says. The deal, which goes into effect on Thursday, marks the first streamed content agreement for TiVo. The service had previous deals with Amazon Unbox and other content creators that allowed users to download content to the set-top box.
