Broadcom Acquires DTV From AMD

Advanced Micro Devices found a buyer in Broadcom for its digital television business a month after announcing it was quitting DTV, CNET reports. Broadcom will pay $192.8 million for the acquisition. AMD dropped digital TV to help streamline its businesses and to increase financial performance.
