DNC Brings Ratings Success to PBS

Aug 26, 2008  •  Post A Comment

PBS’ household ratings for the first night of the Democratic National Convention were down from 2004, but they were a 75% improvement on its prime-time average, Broadcasting & Cable reports. PBS, the only broadcast network to devote all of prime time to the convention, earned a 2.1 rating/3 market share for Monday evening. If history is any indicator, expect PBS’ ratings for tonight’s coverage to go up.
