Hulu Making Gains

Aug 20, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Hulu, the joint venture between News Corp. and NBC, is now the eighth-largest video site in the U.S., reports the Silicon Alley Insider. Based on statistics released by Nielsen, Hulu served up 105 million video streams in July, 25 million more than in May. Contributing to Hulu’s success is the acquisition of Viacom’s “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report” back in June. YouTube is the giant in the market, serving up 5 billion video streams in July.
