NBCU Purchases U.K.’s Carnival

Aug 20, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Carnival, the British production company behind such across-the-pond hits as “Harley Street” and “Hotel Babylon,” has been snatched up by NBC Universal, the Guardian reports. The price tag was a reported $55 million. The move is part of a bigger strategy by U.S. studios and networks to move into production overseas.
