More kids said they spend an hour or more online than said they spend that much time watching TV, the New York Times says, citing a new study by DoubleClick Performics. According to the study, 83% of Internet users in the 10 to 14 year old age bracket said they use the Web for more than an hour and often do research on line before making a purchase, according to the paper.
