Advertisers are totally fine with racy comedic Web videos so long as it’s produced by professionals, MediaWeek reports. At an event during Advertising week, CollegeHumor.com co-founder Josh Abramson said, “User-generated content is less and less interesting to clients. We’re more and more focused on original comedy.” The Onion’s Sean Mills said his team rarely worries about pleasing advertisers when producing original Web video. “We don’t really think about advertisers when we go through the creative process,” he said. “They are buying us in large part because they like the brand and like the content.”
