The American Film Institute will announce the honorees for its annual AFI Awards on Dec. 14, Daily Variety reports. The deadline for television submissions is Oct. 31. The AFI Awards, which honor 10 of the year’s outstanding achievements in both film and television, will be presented Jan. 9.
