If there’s a silver lining to Hurricane Gustav’s pounding of the Gulf Coast, it’s that the Weather Channel pulled in 65 million viewers as the storm threatened and then hit New Orleans and vicinity, Multichannel News reports. The network had the highest cumulative audience of any cable TV network between Saturday and Monday, besting competitor CNN and non-competitors ESPN and TBS.
