AOL is passing on Joan Rivers’ traditional Emmy coverage, deeming her remarks taped for MyHollywood.com as “too offensive,” the New York Times reports. The plan was to features clips of Rivers on the AOL homepage, but the online company backed out after she suggested that Julia Louis-Dreyfus “waxed her mustache” and Tom Hanks had “Nazi” hair. Rivers said she was “shocked but not surprised AOL has no sense of humor.”

  1. Joan Rivers’ idea of “humor” has always been on the repulsive side, and this is no exeption.
Hasn’t she heard of the old showbiz axiom:
“Know when you have been on long enough, and when to GET OFF!?”
