Bushnell to Pen ‘Sex’ Teen Novels

“Sex and the City” author Candace Bushnell has signed on to write two new novels for young adults based on “City’s” Carrie Bradshaw during her high school years, Daily Variety reports. The books follow the recent popularity of young adult TV shows, Such as “Gossip Girl,” and literature, like the vampire series “Twilight.” The recent “Sex and the City” film version, a continuation of the HBO series, arrives on DVD Sept. 22, the trade says.

  1. So if they’re doing a SATC prequel, they should call the 1st three books “The Phantom Boyfriend”, “Attack of the Joneses” and “Revenge of the Wimps”
