CBS Hoping Physical Ads Draw Viewers

No surface is too big or unusual when CBS scouts for locations to promote its fall lineup, Daily Variety reports. The network has painted a giant black and yellow ad for “The Amazing Race” near Los Angeles International Airport, big enough to be seen by passengers as they take off and land. The network also has placed promotional messages on eco-friendly, biodegradable hangers that can be found in dry cleaners in New York and Los Angeles.
