Comedian Zach Galifianakis, host of VH1’s short-lived “Late World With Zach,” has scored the lead in HBO’s pilot “Bored to Death,” says the Hollywood Reporter. Galifianakis will play a struggling comic book artist and best friend to Jason Schwartzman’s Jonathan, an alcoholic writer masquerading as a private detective. Ted Danson also is set to star.
