Colbert Launching DNA Into Space

Stephen Colbert, host of Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report,” has agreed to donate his DNA to be digitized and included in a time capsule launching to the International Space Station in October, E! Online reports. Video game developer Richard Garriott is behind the Oct. 12 launch, titled “Operation Immortality.” Colbert joins such luminaries as bestselling author Tracy Hickman and Beast from NBC’s “American Gladiators” in sending their DNA into space.
