Reality producer Endemol, maker of CBS’ “Big Brother,” is getting into the sports market, says the Hollywood Reporter. The company plans to compete with the likes of IMG with its new Endemol Sports. The startup aims to partner with broadcasters, sports federations, advertisers and brands to help leverage the company’s network of production businesses in at least 25 countries, the publication says. IMG veterans Lawrence Duffy and Gregg Oldfield will serve as joint managing directors.
