ESPN’s ‘Chavez’ Film Its First in Spanish

ESPN Films’ first ever Spanish-language film debuts Saturday, Multichannel News reports. “JC Chávez,” about decorated boxer Julio Cesar Chavez, will air Sept. 27 on ESPN Deportes and ESPN Classic as part of ESPN’s Hispanic Heritage Month programming. The film, which features interviews with Mike Tyson and Oscar De La Hoya, will carry English subtitles when airing on ESPN Classic. The DVD will be released a mere three days later after the debut.
