Female Online Gaming Audience Growing

The female audience for online games is growing, particularly among women 55-64 and girls 12-17, MediaPost reports. Nearly 43 million females played online games in August, up 27% from a year ago, according to new data from comScore. The younger set hit sites such as Stardoll.com and Nickelodeon’s Neopets, while portals like iVillage.com introduces older generations to games.
