The Humanitas Prizes were presented Wednesday night at the Beverly Hills Hotel, the Hollywood Reporter says. HBO’s “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee” and “John Adams” won in the 90-minute and 60-minute categories, respectively. Other television honors went to NBC’s “Scrubs,” ABC’s “A Raisin in the Sun” and the Disney Channel’s “Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board.” The Humanitas Prizes honor writing that celebrates and explores the human condition.
