Bidding for syndication rights to CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother” has become aggressive among stations groups and cable networks looking to land the series, Daily Variety reports. Tribune, Fox and CBS station groups have made offers, along with a half-dozen cablers, and a winner could be announced as early as Wednesday. Twentieth Television is looking to bring in $350 million for the show’s first syndication sales, the trade paper says.
