Seinfeld-Gates Ads Replaced

Microsoft is pulling its new ads featuring Jerry Seinfeld for spots that focus more on Microsoft products, the Associated Press reports. The commercials were met with much criticism by the bloggersphere, though a company senior VP in the marketing group Mich Mathews says Microsoft always intended to end the campaign’s run shortly after release. Microsoft will begin rolling out a new ad, a spoof of the popular Apple “Mac vs. PC” spots, Advertising Age reports.

  1. Well, about time. Those Seinfeld ads were really dumb, and reflected zero credit on either one of them.
